PeopleMover Vehicles Seen Slamming Into Each Other at Magic Kingdom During Reopening Testing

|

|

As Disney prepares to reopen the Tomorrowland PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom, we couldn’t help but hear a slamming noise coming from Tomorrowland this morning. As it turns out, Disney is testing the Tomorrowland PeopleMover this morning and the slamming sound we heard was the ride vehicles hitting each other along the track. As you’ll see in the video below, the impact of the vehicles was rather significant.

Tomorrowland PeopleMover ride vehicles hitting each other has led to multiple lawsuits against The Walt Disney Company in the past. We hope Disney is able to correct this issue prior to opening to guests. Other portions of testing appeared to run smoothly.

As of publish time, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover refurbishment ends on January 30th – less than a week from today.

  1. Just a thought, perhaps you should think first about repercussions before you post videos like this. It seems to me that they are doing
everything they can to save this ride!
Perhaps you should be the cheerleader instead of the debby downer.
