Either Disney has made a change to the Disney Park Pass reservation process or there is an easily exploitable glitch that allows guests to make same-day Disney Park Pass reservations despite a theme park showing as unavailable.
This change was reported by wdwmagic and we were able to confirm the change/glitch by booking a Park Pass for Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, January 6th, despite it being shown as unavailable on the Disney Park Pass reservation calendar.
To verify that it was a change to the same-day booking availability and not a problem with the availability calendar, we tried to book other days at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that were shown as unavailable next week and were not able to do so.
Disney has not commented on this new reservation behavior, so it may be premature to consider this a change in policy at this time.
