Good morning from EPCOT! While walking through the future World Discovery neighborhood, we noticed that Disney has made some notable progress on the entrance facade for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction. As a refresher, here’s the latest concept art released by Disney.
Here’s an older piece of concept art for the entrance facade.
As you’ll see in the photos below, it looks like Disney is opting for a third design for the entrance.
This will be awesome ride ever in Epcot History! I love it!
Great pictures Mike. I could be missing where you are looking, but in the concept art I think you are looking at what appears to be three openings in the building, and that Disney appears to have taken out the middle opening. Looking closer at the latest concept art, the two on the sides have a purple and white glow like it is inside the building, while the middle has the fastpass and standby signs without the purple and white glow behind. I think that the central opening is set further away from the building, like at other attractions for fastpass and standby signage. The white pipe with the orange cone could be conduit for the electrical and fastpass signage. The two openings on the sides are the entrance/exit. Again, I could be missing what you are seeing. Thanks again for the great photos.
