Following a glitch this morning that left many without a boarding group, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is experiencing an extended downtime right now at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The attraction, which can experience frequent downtime, is typically only closed for about 45 minutes. As of publish time, the attraction has been closed for 2 hours.
Cast Members that BlogMickey.com spoke with indicated that this was not a normal issue, but that they hope to reopen later in the day. They said that they hope to get through 130 boarding groups, but they have only processed about 65 so far.
