While Disney has announced that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will officially open on October 1, 2021 as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, many Disney fans are wondering if there will be a soft opening for EPCOT’s newest attraction. Earlier this year, we asked if Disney was targeting a mid-Feburary soft opening for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and came to the conclusion that they weren’t.
Now, Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle has announced that guests will be able to preview Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ahead of its October 1, 2021 debut. In an announcement about Cast Member preview opportunities starting in August, Vahle said the following:
And if you’re not a Cast Member, there may still be a way for you to see this attraction before it opens. More details to come!
If Disney follows pre-pandemic preview trends, we expect that there will be opportunities for Annual Passholders, DVC Members, Club 33 Members, and maybe even day guests as we get closer to October 1, 2021.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has effectively been “completed” for months, but Disney has delayed opening it to ensure that they will have an attraction to open for the start of their Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebrations this fall.
