As we continue to recap the offerings of the all-new Disney Jollywood Nights holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we wanted to take a step back in time to 1939 and visit the real-life Tip Top Club at the Tower of Terror hotel. Or, at least, the Tip Top Club as it exists for a high-throughput event like Jollywood Nights.
As an exclusive during the upcharge Disney Jollywood Nights event at Hollywood Studios, guests can enjoy the Twilight Soirée in the Tower of Terror courtyard. The Twilight Soriée brings live entertainment and exclusive drinks to the area for guests to enjoy.
A sign and some decor led guests to the courtyard, which is where the gift shop is, and a Joffrey’s Coffee kiosk. Here’s an overview of the area.
Rachel and the Alley Cats
Throughout the evening, a jazz band plays in the courtyard called Rachel and the Alley Cats. Rachel and the Alley Cats is a swinging band that plays jazz classics and holiday hits from the Golden Age of music. They perform roughly 15-minute sets throughout the evening, and draw quite a crowd!
Tip Top Club Menu
The “Tip Top Club” was an outdoor vending bar with three bartenders trying desperately to keep up with demand. The wait time for drinks averaged 20+ minutes. There is no seating, but there are a few standing tables.
