Agrabah Bazaar Reopens Post-COVID as Snack Stand & Seating Area at Magic Kingdom

The Agrabah Bazaar, formerly a merchandise location that would sell Adventureland-themed goods, is now open for the first time post-COVID, but as a snack stand. The reopening is the first time that we’ve seen this area open since the COVID-19 closures back in Spring 2020. Because the location is intended to be a merchandise location, it is still listed as “Temporarily Unavailable” on the Walt Disney World website, but guests will find seating and snacks if they visit the park.

Agrabah Bazaar Reopens as Snack Stand

The Agrabah Bazaar is not to be confused with Zanzibar Traders, or the Aladdin & Jasmine meet and greet – those areas have been open for a while now. We’re talking about the area under the blue tent in the middle left of the photo below.

The former checkout area for when this was utilized as a merchandise location now sits beneath props.

Here’s a look at the snack stand, which wasn’t set up when we stopped by at park opening.

We stopped by again around 10:30am, which is when Cast Members were preparing to open. The snack stand probably opens around 11am, and has a rather standard lineup of offerings.

It’s unclear if this is just a summertime offering, or if the Agrabah Bazaar will be relegated to being a snack and seating area for the foreseeable future.
