In September 2022, a facade along Hollywood Boulevard was damaged at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The part of the facade that was damaged was a doorway leading into the Keystone Clothiers gift shop along the main walkway at the park. Walt Disney World attempted some early repairs, but the broken facade has been left, unfixed, for years…until now.
Construction Walls Surround Broken Facade at Hollywood Studios
Walt Disney World appears to be addressing the broken facade some 2.5 years after the damage initially occurred. While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning, we noticed construction walls have been installed around the broken facade. Here’s a look!
We can see that some of the flanking decorations have had some of the ornamentation ripped off. It’s unclear what is happening behind the wall, but we’d imagine that an extensive amount of work is required if it’s taken this long to come up with a solution and begin to implement it.
The Keystone Clothiers store remains open during the work, with the doorway that would lead into the construction site closed and blocked off to guests.
