The new DINOSAUR on-ride photo frame includes the year, a red Carnotaurus, the incoming meteor strike, a pterodactyl saying “nice work”, and the DINOSAUR attraction logo, complete with the tagline “It’s Fast! It’s A Blast! It’s In The Past!”.

And here’s a look back at the old photo frame for the DINOSAUR on-ride photo. The old frame was more basic. It contained a catalog tag that included details about your expedition, including a nod to the May 19, 2000 release date for the Dinosaur film (“Expedition #05192K”).

The DINOSAUR attraction will have its final day of operation on February 1, 2026. The ride will be permanently closed starting February 2nd as crews work to transform the ride into an Indiana Jones-themed attraction. It is believed that the ride vehicles and layout will largely remain the same, with a redressing of the sets expected.

He’s heard rumors about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure… but will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait and see.
