The Disney Jr. Zone features bubbles in the air and Disney Jr. music. The area is tucked away a bit on Commissary Lane, across from the ABC Commissary quick-service restaurant. While this area has been used for special event meet and greets during Jollywood Nights, it has typically not been utilized during normal park operations. The venue is designed with younger guests in mind.
Characters You Can Meet
Two characters are available for greetings at the Disney Jr. Zone. Sofia the First, the princess of the EverRealm, is one of the featured meet-and-greet options. Bitsy from SuperKitties rounds out the lineup. Both characters are listed on the My Disney Experience app, which is where you can find their meet-and-greet times. In general, the duo rotates throughout the day.
What to Expect
In terms of what to expect, the characters weren’t overly popular, with just a 10-15 minute wait. While there was some shade thanks to a nearby tree, I wouldn’t plan on it. There is no built-in structure or shade for the meet and greet itself, which means that it is not only subject to hot temperatures this Summer, but rain as well.
