Walt Disney World has dedicated a “new” window on Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom to Maribeth Bisienere. The honor recognizes more than 30 years of leadership and Cast Member development. Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared the news and pointed to Bisienere’s role in shaping the company’s culture of talent development. The window ceremony brought together current and incoming Walt Disney World leadership for the celebration. Bisienere joins a list of distinguished Walt Disney World leaders.

A Tribute to Three Decades of Leadership
Receiving a window on Main Street USA is one of the highest honors Disney bestows on a retiring leader. It’s reserved for those who have shaped the company at the highest level. Vahle announced Bisienere’s window in a social media post. He wrote that it was an honor to celebrate her with the dedication.
Vahle credited Bisienere with helping shape the business over more than three decades. He said she invested heavily in Disney’s people along the way. She championed the development of Cast Members, he said, and created opportunities for others to grow, lead, and reach their potential. Her impact can be seen in the many leaders she mentored, he added, as well as the culture of development she helped build.
Bisienere retired earlier this year after almost 31 years with the company. Her most recent title was Senior Vice President of Operations for Walt Disney World. In that role, she led Resorts, Transportation, Premium Services, Food & Beverage, and Merchandise.
A Window of Leaders
Bisienere’s window shares a balcony with a window honoring Meg Gilbert Crofton, the fictional “founder of the Center for Leadership Development & Mentoring”. Bisienere’s panel is for the fictional “Academy of Talent Education & Training”, with the tagline “Inspiring Success for a New Century.” She’s listed among the “faculty” under the heading “Innovative Hospitality,” joined by Phil Holmes, Trevor Larsen, Jim MacPhee, and Djuan Rivers.
Photos from the celebration show Bisienere and Vahle posing together in front of Cinderella Castle. A second photo followed with Thomas Mazloum, Vahle, Bisienere, and incoming Walt Disney World President Joe Schott. The mix of outgoing and incoming leadership at the ceremony underscored the transition currently underway atop Walt Disney World’s organization chart. Schott is set to take over as president.
Vahle closed his tribute by congratulating Bisienere on a well-deserved recognition. He added that her legacy will continue to inspire generations of Disney leaders.
