Disney confirmed the news in a social media post, writing that Big Top Souvenirs reopens on August 21st with “sweet surprises and tasty treats.” The accompanying photo showed a spread of circus-themed offerings. Dumbo the Flying Elephant-shaped candy apples sat alongside a Mickey candy apple and more sweet treats.
Those treats will be found at Big Top Treats, the confectionery counter inside Big Top Souvenirs, returning alongside the merchandise side of the shop. The combined space has long been a stop for guests exploring Storybook Circus. It sits near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Barnstormer.
What to Expect at Reopening
Big Top Souvenirs sits at the entrance to Storybook Circus in Fantasyland. The shop has historically carried a mix of plush, apparel, and collectibles alongside its treats counter. As far as we know, the scope of the refurbishment was limited to the tent roof replacement.
