With a lot of the site preparation complete, pilings are now being driven to support foundation work at the Epcot Disney Skyliner station.
The pilings being driven are at the back of the construction site and will travel up to 90 feet underground. The pilings provide a deep-set foundation for a heavy structure to sit on.
In addition to the work going on at Epcot, we spotted the first support beam that will be used to hang the cable for the gondola system to travel on.
The Disney Skyliner gondola system is expected to be functional by mid-2019.
