After being cut from the offerings quite some time ago, the Shoulder Banshee Adoption process has returned to Windtraders in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Cast Members that we spoke to said that not only were guests not getting the full experience of identifying and pairing with their own banshee with the loss of the adoption process, but there was also confusion as to the operation of the banshee once they returned home or to the hotel. From an operations standpount, this is the same adoption process as when the land opened, including the return of a queue and a limited number of families allowed in The Rookery at any given time.

Guests wishing to forego the adoption process are still able to purchase a banshee either in Windtraders or “back on Earth” at the Island Mercantile.
