It’s a “busy” day here at EPCOT, which means that the Mexico pavilion has implemented enhanced crowd flow measures. The pavilion, which essentially functions as a giant gift shop with a ride and bar inside, has been a popular destination since the theme parks reopened. In talking with Cast Members in the area, they say that they implement these enhanced crowd control measures typically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when crowds are larger. Our recent article examines just how much more busy the parks are on the weekend. Another factor that has led to larger crowds has been the fact that La Cava Del Tequilla doesn’t have any seating, which leads to many guests simply drinking their beverage while standing around the pavilion before heading back out to World Showcase. Here’s a look around the area.
Other safety measures within the pavilion include taking away some ledges to encourage physical distancing.
