CONCEPT: We Could Have Had a Floating “Blue Milk-mobile” for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

As we await the April 27th release of “The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” book, we have a first look at one of the scrapped plans for the Blue Milk stand! As you can see in the concept art below, an early concept included a “floating” Blue Milk stand that looks like a modified Landspeeder.

In the concept above, it looks like the proprietor of the Blue Milk-mobile would be serving guests out of the tank of Blue Milk that would be situated on the back of the vehicle. The proprietor looks to be an Ithorian, like Dok-Ondar who has a shop in the final version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that guests can visit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland.

Of course, the version of the Milk Stand that made it into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is far more utilitarian and sensible for a theme park. That said, the concept of serving or storing Blue Milk within vats did make it into the final version.
