A new job posting on the Walt Disney World website seeks Parking Operations Cast Members. In the job posting, some of the responsibilities listed include operating multi car passenger trams throughout parking lots.
The parking lot trams at Walt Disney World have been out of service since the theme parks originally closed back in March 2020. While the job responsibilities certainly entail much more than just operating trams, it is believed that lowered staffing levels could be responsible for the continued suspension of parking lot tram service.
While some fans have speculated for months and months now that tram service would resume soon, tram service remains suspended and Walt Disney World continues to remain silent on their return. If lowered staffing levels really is the reason that service remains suspended, hopefully some new hires will pave the path to resumed parking lot tram service.
