Disney World has paused new sales of 3 of the 4 Annual Pass offerings, leaving the cheapest “Disney Pixie Dust Pass” as the only option. The Pixie Dust Pass is only available for Florida Residents and has the most restrictive blockout calendar. Sales are expected to be paused through the end of the year and resume in 2022, and current Annual Passholders will still be able to renew their passes once they expire.
The news follows the pause of sales for select Disneyland Magic Key passes, and comes at a time when both resorts are expecting limited Disney Park Pass availability for their most loyal fans. Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro has previously said that the Disney Park Pass system is “here to stay”.

Humbug
So they are trying to increase demand for the lowest tier pass, so they can start jacking up the price to figure out just how much people are willing to pay for it. Cute.
