ACE Avatar Maker Returns (With Slight Modification) to Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom

After being closed due to COVID-19, the immersive souvenir ACE Avatar Maker is now available again at the Windtraders gift shop in Pandora – The World of Avatar. That said, it’s not exactly the same as it used to be.

Advanced Avatar Maker station inside the Museum of Pop Culture, with interactive features and themed decor, offering visitors a chance to create custom digital avatars at Disney World.

The ACE Avatar Maker experience is $79.99 and includes the creation of your own custom posable avatar figure.

The end result of the experience is still the same as it used to be, but Cast Members are using a Windows tablet to scan your face instead of the genetic scanner that has since been removed. Here’s a look back at the genetic scanner as it existed until the experience returned.
