Following a tease earlier this morning, Walt Disney World has confirmed that it will announce the opening date and full setlist for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets soon. According to a countdown clock posted by Disney, the announcement will be made at 9am on Thursday, April 16th. Here’s the latest!

According to Walt Disney World, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets opening date and full set list will be revealed on April 16th at 9am. A countdown has been posted to the Disney Parks Blog.
The Electric Mayhem are headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!
Across town at G-Force Records, we’re treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management – The Muppets! We’re happy to say that our colorful crew has landed some new digs… with just a little help from Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse (he really puts the G in G-Force). Just wait until you see how they’ve made these hallowed halls their own, creating the perfect place to make sweet, sweet Muppet music together!
Back in early March, BlogMickey.com exclusively reported that Disney was targeting a quick turnaround for the attraction. We suggested that Walt Disney Imagineering was targeting an early Summer reopening over a mid or late-Summer timeframe. While we didn’t mention it at the time, that would mean a Memorial Day opening timeframe, if all goes well.
Of course, this is all speculation and not confirmed by Walt Disney World. We should know more on Thursday!
