Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a behind-the-scenes look at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The nearly 7-minute video offers a sneak peek at some of the cool effects that make the attraction come to life. Here’s a look!

The video starts with a look at a pre-show effect that brilliantly hides a smoke effect from guests. From there, Imagineers talk about projection mapping against physical sets. They also talk about how they build in maintenance assistance like the projector identifiers seen above.
