A map posted online may hint at the new look for the Tomorrowland entrance sign. The Magic Kingdom map, which was updated in May 2019, shows a new look for the Tomorrowland entrance sign. As you may know by now, the old Tomorrowland sign has been completely removed. The change has been reflected on the My Disney Experience app, the Walt Disney World website, and in-park maps.
The new look would match the overall minimalistic theme that we’ve seen in the Tomorrowland refresh. The most recent sign to receive and updated look is the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor sign.

Of course, it’s possible that Disney is just using the sign as a temporary placeholder in the maps, but there was definitely an effort to change the look about 2 months ago.
