Some Primeval Whirl Elements Removed as Ride Vehicle Returns to Tracks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Good morning from DinoLand USA! We’re out here to check out the latest work on the permanently closed Primeval Whirl attraction. And yes, it’s permanently closed.

We’ll start with a few overviews of the area. As you can see, not much work has been done in the way of demolishing the roller coaster, but some elements have been removed from the attraction.

As you can see in the photos below, the height check and safety signs have been removed. The first photo is a look back at what they looked like before the official announcement was made that the attraction would close permanently. The following photos are from this morning.

Also interesting is the return of a single ride vehicle. We don’t think this is indicative of any return from the grave for the attraction. Rather, it could be in place for final archiving photos or some other purpose.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
