Hurricane Eta to Impact Central Florida Over Next 48 Hours, Minimal Effects Felt at Disney World

The National Hurricane Center has issued updated guidance on now-Hurricane Eta. The category one hurricane is expected to make landfall in Florida in the next 24 hours and impact the Central Florida area over the next 48 hours.

While this isn’t a major hurricane, it is worth noting that the Walt Disney World area is forecasted to experience higher than normal winds and rainfall over the next couple of days. The storm will likely have very little impact on the operation of Walt Disney World, but may have guests feeling a little soggy. We will continue to provide updates should they be necessary.
