Disney to Share Artwork That Inspired Upcoming Princess and the Frog Replacement of Splash Mountain

According to My News 13 journalist Ashley Carter, Disney will be sharing a first look at artwork that inspired Imagineers developing the Princess and the Frog attraction set to replace Splash Mountain. The artwork, which Disney commissioned from New Orleans-based artist Sharika Mahdi, is actually a series of paintings that Imagineers will use for inspiration for the final product.

The Princess and the Frog attraction, which we could still be months or (more likely) years away from riding, has been in development for over two years – according to Disney.
