New railroad track installation is an encouraging bit of progress for the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad. The railroad has been closed for years as Disney built out the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction in the space where the railroad used to run.
Now, Disney has installed new track on the actual TRON Lightcycle Run construction site as they connect the existing track in Tomorrowland and the Storybook Circus station. Here’s a look at the newly installed track!
While this is a great sign for the return of the Walt Disney World Railroad, Disney has not announced a reopening date or even season for the railroad.
