TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue Fills in Seconds During First Soft Opening Day at Magic Kingdom

After more than 5 years of construction, the first guests were able to ride TRON Lightcycle Run today as part of a soft opening of the attraction at Magic Kingdom. The soft opening functions a bit like regular operations will when it comes to the Virtual Queue requirements, but there are some unique aspects that will be in place over the next week such as restricted access to the ride courtyard and limited operating hours.

As expected, the Virtual Queeu proved to be quite popular and both the 7am drop and 1pm drop lasted just seconds before filling to capacity. It will be extra difficult to secure a Boarding Group during the soft opening period due to the limited hours and, thus, lower daily capacity for the attraction.

If guests wish to forego the Virtual Queue experience, they can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for TRON Lightcycle Run. The cost of the Individual Lightning Lane will vary, but it started at $20 today.

TRON Lightcycle Run officially opens April 4th at Magic Kingdom.
