As a reminder, Magic Kingdom will be closing early tomorrow, January 30th. While Walt Disney World’s original park typically carries the longest operating hours, the park will be closing at 4:30pm for the Cast Member Service Celebration party. The Cast Member Service Celebration party is a private event for Cast Members who are celebrating a major milestone with the Company.

Magic Kingdom Closing Early | January 30th
The Cast Member Service Celebration party is an annual event that brings hundreds of Cast Members and their invited guests into Magic Kingdom for a one-of-a-kind party. During the event, Cast Members will enjoy a special fireworks show, unique character meet and greets, specialty entertainment, catered food, and alcohol – a Magic Kingdom rarity.

Magic Kingdom will return to normal operating hours on January 31st. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World, short days like tomorrow may be a good time to visit Magic Kingdom. You will not get to experience the nightly fireworks show and some entertainment may be modified or cut, but you will very likely find shorter wait times at attractions.
According to thrill-data, Magic Kingdom attractions averaged a 31-minute posted wait time in January 2024. On the day of the Cast Member Service Celebration party, the average posted wait time was just 19 minutes – a nearly 40% drop in wait times!
Congratulations to all of the Cast Members celebrating milestones with Disney!
