The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming to Orlando. At least, they’ll play here for one season while work on their “Stadium of the Future” is completed. The announcement was made yesterday by the City of Orlando and the team, who will play their 2027 home games at Camping World Stadium. The Jaguars took to social media to make the announcement via a parody of the Steamboat Willie short.

NFL owners unanimously approved terms of a temporary, one-year stadium lease between the Jaguars and Florida Citrus Sports for the Jaguars to play home games in Camping World Stadium in Orlando during the 2027 NFL season.
The Jaguars will play at least seven NFL games at Camping World Stadium between preseason games and regular-season games. It’s possible that more games could be played if the Jaguars qualify to host postseason games.
The 65,000-seat Camping World Stadium is located about 40 minutes northeast of Walt Disney World Resort, and some 20 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort.
Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen saw the move as a way to reach new fans, “I think it will be a cool thing because your average football fan is in Disney a lot. And so I do think it could be a way to connect with a new fan base.”
The NFL has announced nine home opponents for the Jaguars in 2027, which include two home games in London. The teams that could potentially play in Orlando are the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, the divisional rivals in the AFC South (Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans) and an AFC West team to be determined (one of these four teams: Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers or Las Vegas Raiders).
