PHOTOS: Hand-painted Detail Work Begins on Disney Skyliner Station at Epcot; Final Support Column Arrives Overnight

Hand-painted details have begun on the Disney Skyliner station in the International Gateway that will service Epcot.

First, here’s a look at the concept art for the station. Note that the detail work is on the side of the station that the gondolas will enter and exit from.

In addition to the hand-painted details, the final support column was installed overnight.

Finally, here’s a look at the rear of the structure.

The cables for the Disney Skyliner system are expected to be installed in late-November into December. International Gateway will remain open during that time.

The Disney Skyliner gondola system is expected to functional by Summer 2019.
