The first gondola car for the Disney Skyliner gondola system is now on site at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for station testing. The gondola is similar in shape and size to the one that was spotted on a flatbed entering Walt Disney World back in June. In our photos below, you can see the gondola hanging in the station, wrapped in white with a little bit of the red paint job coming through.
While the cables that will carry the gondola car between stations aren’t in place yet, having the actual car in the station will allow Disney to test the clearances needed to make sure the car passes through the station smoothly.
