Disney Releases First Ad Spot for Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Disney has released their first ad spot for Walt Disney World’s version of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The ad spot features a family walking up to the Millennium Falcon parked under the towering spires of Black Spire Outpost. One quick cut later and we’re inside the Falcon cockpit with the same family as they take the controls of the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, maneuvering it around some of the same towering spires it was just parked under.

Unfortunately, the ad spot has only been put out on Twitter so far, leading to a crop factor that doesn’t really do the spot much justice. We’ll update this story with a widescreen view of the commercial once it becomes available.

Of course, if you can’t wait until August 29th to walk the streets of Batuu at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we have a full walkthrough of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge from Disneyland in our fully immersive 5.2K 360° video below.

If you’re looking to further immerse yourself in the entire Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run experience, we have 360° video of the entire queue, pre-show, and even a solo flight! Check out all of our videos for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run below.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is now open at Disneyland and will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29th.
