Magic Kingdom Entrance Overhaul Project Begins

|

|

Walls are up at the entrance to Magic Kingdom now as the entrance overhaul project begins. We first spotted the permits for the overhaul back in late April, and work on the project has only begun recently.

The permit is actually quite extensive, covering the bus loop, bag check area, entrance pathways and more. For a detailed look at the permit, check out our post.

We’ll start at the central entrance, where portions of the pathway and green spaces are now behind walls.

We took some comparison shots a few days ago in anticipation of the work.

Another angle. Eventually this walkway to the boats will be replaced with green space, per the permit.

And the before pic.

The walls run a good length of the walkway.

Here’s a reverse angle of the space cordoned off for work.

Over at the bus loop, work has just begun.

As always, keep checking back with BlogMickey.com for the latest on this project and many more from around the Disney Parks!
