Disneyland Cancels Candlelight Processional for 2020 Holiday Season

According to a report from the OC Register, Disneyland officials have confirmed that they will be cancelling the Candlelight Processional that takes place annually at the park.

Disneyland was unable to commit to the months-long planning process required to present the event due to the uncertainty regarding when the state of California will allow them to open their theme parks and resume business.

California Governor Gavin Newsom recently said “progress is being made” on plans to reopen theme parks, but an opening date for Disneyland has not been identified. Our sources indicate that Disneyland is targeting a late-September reopening, and Newsom recently teased a Disneyland reopening announcement.

Disneyland recently cancelled reservations through September 26th.
