Today was supposed to be the day that Disney would demote several of the Individual Lightning Lane attractions from the a la carte service to the Disney Genie+ bundle. However, an early-morning glitch prevented guests from making selections for some of the newly added attractions.
Space Mountain, Frozen Ever After, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway all showed as unavailable to book for some time after 7am, despite the announcement from Disney that they would be part of the Disney Genie+ offering. Expedition Everest appears to be the only newly demoted attraction not affected by the glitch and operating as expected within the system from the 7am drop onward.

The glitch, unfortunately, is not entirely unexpected, as Disney appears to be making changes to the Disney Genie+ system with little to no testing or thought. The glitch was eventually fixed, but in a system that demands an early start to each day of your vacation, it’s disappointing to see it not working for guests.
