Tropical Depression #14 Headed to Florida Next Week

Tropical Depression #14 has formed, and it is expected to become a hurricane before making landfall in Florida next week. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 35mph right now and it will strengthen over the next few days. The NHC says “Rapid strengthening is forecast during the next few days. The depression is forecast to become a tropical storm later today and a hurricane by early Monday. The system could become a major hurricane while it moves across the central and eastern Gulf of Mexico”.
