Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is experiencing extended downtime at Magic Kingdom today. The attraction did not open with the park this morning and has not operated at all today. Cast Members we spoke with at the attraction were not confident that the attraction would reopen at all today, noting that there have been periods of downtime recently since the parks reopened. Cast were are sure what the exact problem is.
Unlike the Tomorrowland PeopleMover, which is expected to be closed quite a bit this summer, Cast were hopeful that a fix could be made soon, and maintenance has been seen working on the attraction throughout the day.
