Downtown Disney Now Allowing Limited Indoor Dining Following New Government Guidance

With Orange County now in the “red” tier of the state of California COVID-19 color-coded system, limited indoor dining is allowed.

Disney has recently updated its website to acknowledge the updated guidance from the state of California that now allows up to 25% of indoor dining capacity. Outdoor dining remains unlimited as long as it is physically distanced. Here’s the updated wording from Disney, emphasis added by BlogMickey.com:

Dining locations at the Downtown Disney District have begun to reopen in a way that incorporates our enhanced health and safety measures, including physical distancing, the use of appropriate face coverings by Operating Participant employees, Cast Members and Guests, increased cleaning procedures and limited-contact Guest services. Additionally, at this time, following state and county guidelines, limited indoor seating will be permitted; all other seating is outdoor patio only.

It is up to each location to implement indoor seating as they see fit.
