With the news that the massive Harmonious barges will have a permanent, daytime presence on World Showcase Lagoon, lead Imagineer for the EPCOT overhaul project Zach Riddley shared news about an upcoming milestone for the project.
Riddley said that the first of the massive floating show pieces will be heading out to World Showcase Lagoon “soon” to begin testing ahead of a 2021 debut for the show.
“Harmonious” will be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created. It’ll feature the hallmarks of a Disney experience, including music and images, reimagined by diverse cultural musicians and artists from around the world.
