Multi-Level Marketing Company Scentsy to Expand Magic Kingdom Presence by Sponsoring Dumbo the Flying Elephant Attraction

Following the announcement that multi-level marketing company Scentsy would be sponsoring a new interactive experience called “Smellephants on Parade” in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom, a closer look at the concept art released appears to reveal that they will be expanding their presence beyond just the interactive experience.

The Disney Parks social media account released “Smellephants on Parade” info and concept art at 7:17pm last night, outside of their normal content window, and promised more details. As you can see in the concept art below, there is a new installation of an elephant statue roughly where the entrance to the Dumbo attraction currently is. Zooming in on the concept art appears to show that Scentsy’s sponsorship will not be limited to the (presumably) popcorn-smelling elephant statue, but extend to the entire Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction.

Zooming in, it appears that the entire attraction will be presented by Scentsy, with the multi-level marketing company getting prominent brand placement below the sign that features a spinning Timothy Mouse. As of publish time, Disney World has not announced anything beyond the “Smellephants on Parade” interactive experience.

Disney typically only reserves space near an attraction sign for companies that sponsor the attraction.
