According to the Disney World theme park calendar, there will be a significant change in the Extended Evening Hours schedule in early November. There is actually quite a significant change in the Extended Evening Horus perk for Deluxe Resort guests in the coming weeks and beyond. As you can see in our chart below, the perk will end at Magic Kingdom and move to Disney’s Hollywood Studios temporarily starting September 30th. The interesting change that is the topic of this article is a twice-per-week change in early November.
According to Disney World, EPCOT will host Extended Evening Hours twice in the week of October 29th through November 4th. Not only will EPCOT host Extended Evening Hours twice in the same week, but the schedule will move to a Monday/Thursday cadence instead of the typical Monday/Wednesday timing.

An Extra Opportunity to Join the Virtual Queue
Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels will have additional opportunities to join virtual queues.
- At 6:00 PM on nights with Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at EPCOT, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
- At 6:00 PM on nights with Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at Magic Kingdom park, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise.
