According to DVCNews.com, Disney will reportedly be raising the points minimum required to qualify for “Membership Extras”. The move is said to happen “soon” and would shift the required minimum from 100 points to 125 points.
Disney Vacation Club introduced any-point minimums back in Spring 2016 and later moved to a 75-point minimum in early 2018. By September 2019, the minimum had been raised to 100 points.
Disney Vacation Club has not announced an increase in the points minimum yet, and this should be treated as a rumor unless and until Disney were to make such an announcement.
Disney has reportedly abandoned plans to build the Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge property at this time.
I am regretting buying DVC right now. The evalue of what I paid for is crap with .asks being required everywhere. I know that is not DVC’s fault, but I could have put a helluva nice pool in the backyard for what we have spent on points, and I can go anywhere I want out there without feeling like I am being smothered with a pillow.

If I only have 100 points now would I lose the additional dvc membership extras if they raise the minimum to 125?
Kevin, when things return to normal or a vaccine is available, you will not regret DVC. It was the best purchase for our family and we have enjoyed fabulous vacations with great accommodations. As a family of 5, we outgrew a standard hotel room years ago. I’m disappointed that we couldn’t go there this summer too. We’ve gone annually for over 20 years.
