Florida Governor Ron DeStantis has issued a new executive order, rescinding the travel restrictions that required visitors from the Tri-State area to quarantine when they arrived in Florida.

Executive Order 20-192 officially rescinds the Tri-State orders, as noted in section 3:

Section 3 of Executive Order 20-139, which incorporates requirements of Executive Orders 20-80 and 20-82, as extended by Executive Order 20-166, is rescinded. Otherwise, Executive Order 20-139 remains in effect for the duration of Executive Order 20-166.

The notable section of text above is the rescinding of Executive Order 20-82, with is the one that initially put a restriction on travel from the Tri-State area.

The state of Florida has not updated their website with the latest information, and calls to state officials by BlogMickey.com were not returned.

  1. Yes let everyone come down here so we have more sickness itโ€™s crazy. Is he smoking something. Thatโ€™s all we need is more and more people coming down here

  2. Sorry to burst your bubble Sue, but NY-NJ-CT now have the LOWEST cases of COVID and FL has one of the HIGHEST so why would any SANE person fly down to Florida? Except me, of course, as October is 2 months away and I’ve been wearing a mask for 4 months already.

  3. Omg get over yourself. We are human beings and we get sick. Its apart of life. It is not a death sentence. I had it, it sucks… a lot.. but I didnt die, nor did any of my family members. You don’t always die, yes some will, yes it’s sad. But we are human. This mask and social distancing shit needs to stop because that’s less human than us believing we can avoid getting sick.

  4. LOL Sue, we’re doing great here in the Trip state. You should be worried about all all of the other hotspot states that were never restricted and are still traveling there including Fl.
