“it’s a small world” Receives Colorful Scrim During Exterior Facade Refurbishment at Magic Kingdom

Maybe it was just the overcast backdrop, but the scrim for “it’s a small world” was definitely loud as we walked through Fantasyland this morning at Magic Kingdom. Disney has recently themed the previously bland scrim that stretches nearly the full length of the facade for “it’s a small world” as work takes place on the exterior of the attraction. Disney hasn’t said what the work is for, but with various parts of the resort receiving planned touchups ahead of next year’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, we expect the facade to look wonderful once the walls come down. Disney has not said when the work will be completed. Here’s a look around from this morning!

  1. I noticed in the attraction it was looking a little dull and the clock face was not working when I was there in September. I am thinking this could use more than some exterior paint! lol
