Construction Walls Removed from Beak & Barrel Pirates of the Caribbean Bar Coming to Magic Kingdom

|

13 months after construction walls were installed, 14 months after work began, and nearly 2 years after it was originally announced, the Beak & Barrel is almost ready to open. While visiting Magic Kingdom earlier today, not only did we notice that the Pirates of the Caribbean Cast Members had all-new costumes, but we also noticed that construction walls were removed from around the Beak and Barrel.

There doesn’t appear to have been a ton of work done to the exterior of the building. The biggest thing that we could notice was a new set of double doors, likely an egress from the Captains’ Quarters room that took over a significant portion of the nearby gift shop.

The Audio-Animatronic parrot that is part of A Pirate’s Adventure remains in the same spot. The parrot returned in October 2022 after going missing for months.

As a reminder, reservations for The Beak and Barrel will open on August 20th at 7pm after a technical issue prevented the originally planned booking date.
