Guests visiting The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom can now find all-new Artisanal Shakes on the menu. As best we can tell, this is the first refresh of the milkshake lineup in a couple of years, and it seems to be a safe one. Here’s a look at what changed!
New Artisanal Milkshakes at The Plaza Restaurant
Back in August 2023, The Plaza Restaurant switched up its milkshake game, moving to what they called “Artisanal Shakes”. Since then, the same four Artisanal Shakes have been on the menu – key lime, chocolate pecan brownie, strawberry shortcake, and standard (with choice of ice cream flavor).
A new update to the Walt Disney World website shows that The Plaza Restaurant recently swapped out two of those Artisanal Shakes for two new options. Here’s what’s new:
COOKIES ‘N CREAM MILK SHAKE | $9.00
Blended Hand-dipped Ice Cream topped with Whipped Cream, Cookie Pieces, and a Cherry
CHOCOLATE-HAZELNUT MILK SHAKE | $9.50
Blended Hand-dipped Vanilla Ice Cream with Hazelnut Spread topped with Whipped Cream and Crème Wafers
The strawberry shortcake and basic milkshakes both remain on the menu, and their prices are unchanged. Interestingly enough, you’ll save $0.50 now if you were to order all four options, with both of the old versions priced at $9.50 and the new Cookies ‘n Cream shake at just $9.00. Who says that going to Walt Disney World only gets more expensive?!
