Earlier this month, we told you about a new option to upgrade your MagicBand during the selection process for resort guests and Annual Passholders. Today, that option is now available on the Walt Disney World website. Here’s a look at all of the customization options available and the process of upgrading your MagicBand for your upcoming visit.
First, you visit the “My MagicBands and Cards” section of My Disney Experience. If you have a free MagicBand waiting to be selected, you’ll be prompted with a screen that allows you to select a MagicBand for you and everyone in your party.
A second pop-up will let you know that there are new upgrade options available.
The next screen allows you to pick either solid color MagicBands for free or an assortment of character MagicBands for an upgraded price. Note that the upgrade will be a discount compared to the prices you would find in the park. Here are a look at the options as of publish time.
If you hover over a MagicBand, you will be able to see the discounted price as well as the in-park pricing.
A final screen allows you to customize your selection before placing your order!
