Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Fountain Testing, Replaced Sign, Latest Construction Progress at EPCOT

While visiting EPCOT today, we took a ride on the Disney Skyliner to check up on the France pavilion expansion and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction. Disney has yet to announce an opening date for the attraction that was originally slated to be open by now. Construction continues at a consistent pace, if a little bit slow in comparison to the pace of work earlier this year.

We’ll start at the entrance to the France pavilion expansion, where the sign was recently removed and replaced. As you’ll see, work is taking place on the pathway behind the sign.

Disney seems to be focused on pathway work, at least as far as is visible to guests.

Brickwork continues to inch toward the entrance to the attraction, which will be down the road that leads towards the right side of the photo below.

As a reminder, the Reedy Creek Improvement District has told BlogMickey.com that an outdoor kiosk is planned for the side of the road with grey bricks.

As we were flying by in the Disney Skyliner, we noticed that the fountain was on and testing.

Here’s a peek at the entrance to the attraction, which is still awaiting a sign.

    1. Can tell you there is a 95% chance its will not be open by then. The sign hasn’t been installed yet, we think the ride is done and they are testing it now, but it’s trackless so we should expect problems, though not as much as Rise of the Resistance because of its Paris counterpart. Also we aren’t entirely sure how if interiors to the other buildings around the addition are fully complete yet. A rumor going around also is saying that Disney will keep this project in there back pocket as a secret weapon that they can use anytime. With the additions coming to the parks next year getting slimmer and slimmer they are gonna try to hold it until the world is back to semi-normal as a selling point for annual passholders to come back and draw more guests.
