50th Anniversary Repainting of Disney World Entrance Archways Continues

After a few days of poor weather here in Central Florida, we were pleased to find work still progressing on the Walt Disney World entrance archway at Western Way. While entering property today we decided to grab a few photos of the latest progress which includes a lighter blue gradient similar to what we’ve seen at the Magic Kingdom parking plaza as well as some darker greys.

First, here’s a look at the concept art that Disney released for the project.

Now, here’s a look at the latest work taking place.

It’ll be interesting to see if Disney decides to go all-in on this project and replace the directional signs found throughout property that will not match the 50th Anniversary color scheme. Here’s a photo showing the roadway signs and the nearly completed Magic Kingdom parking plaza in the background.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news, photos, and info from around the Disney Parks!
