According to Disney, there will be a “routine” fireworks test tonight, December 16th between the hours of 10:30pm and 11:30pm at Magic Kingdom.
If the test is anything like the testing that occurred a month ago, there will be a limited amount of fireworks shells tested from various launch points around the Magic Kingdom area.
It is worth noting that fireworks performances and other nighttime spectaculars in the theme parks remain suspended at this time.
Disney recently added some firework bursts to the holiday projection scenes on Cinderella Castle, but the “pyrotechnic pixie dust” certainly wouldn’t be described as a “show” by any means.
